Croquet in Bath

IMG_1106On my family’s recent trip to England, I discovered (and fell in love with) the clothing brand Reiss. This party dress was one of the purchases I made from the brand and I absolutely love it! The detailing on the bust evokes Art Deco styles and the color is just so fun! I took these photos with my brother while at our hotel in Bath. It was a lot of fun joking around and working on the blog together!

My outfits are easily categorized as feminine and girly. However, sometimes in the summer I like to take a break from my typical dresses and wear carefree shorts. I love this pair because they are a soft material and have a clean front. This makes them super easy to dress up for a day out. I like to wear them with accessories like bracelets and headbands, just to maintain some of my classic girlie style. How have you been wearing shorts this summer?

Red, White and Gray

IMG_1477For me, winter fashion is simple, elegant and warm. I love this outfit because it feels so simple and easy, but has little feminine details that make it put-together. I love the creamy white of the sweater, which makes it ever so appropriate for the winter months. The dress has lovely lace neck detail that keeps it from being too plain. One of my favorite added touches is the splashes of red. I can find it so difficult to include color into my January wardrobe, but I find small accept colors to do the trick.

LND: Little Navy Dress

While the Little Black Dress is a necessary staple in any woman’s closet, it’s fun to change things up every once in a while. I am loving this season’s return to navy and the LND embraces it fully. Play it up with a pop of neon or some fun shoes. I love the incorporation of lace that my dress has.
