Neiman Marcus for Target

IMG_3881I was very excited when I saw the promotional video for this line. To be honest, I was not that impressed with the collection in the store. Most of the designers I was most looking forward to seeing (DVF, Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch) did few or no clothing items for women. Also, like most Target designer collaborations, the quality really did not measure up to the price. I did find a few pieces that I liked, which I feel makes a fun nighttime ensemble.

Obama-Wear

No matter your political affiliations, one can not deny the political chic that is Obama’s campaign wear, For Runway to Win. Boasting looks from such designers as Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore, Alexander Wang and Thakoon Obama’s line is the necessity for any politically active fashionista. The past March I purchased this Marc Jacobs for Obama t-shirt. It has a retro feel that makes it an updated version of political activism. That be told, I will be wearing the shirt through the fall and even beyond.
